Leadership and Advocacy

My leadership roles and advocacy work have also shaped my approach to therapy:

Greenhope Services for Women, Inc.

Led this comprehensive alternative to incarceration drug rehabilitation program for women and their children from 1993 to December 31, 2013. This model program for woman-centered, women-only rehabilitation attracted national and international interest.

ATI Programs

Played a key role in forming some of the first alternative to incarceration (ATI) programs in the country. Co-founded the NY State ATI Coalition, which continues to reform antiquated and draconian drug laws both locally and nationally.

Personal Interests

Beyond my professional work, I engage in traditional African American art forms, enriching my life and connecting deeply with our cultural heritage.
